The N. G. Kuznetsov Naval Academy (Russian: Военно-морская академия имени Н. Г. Кузнецова, romanized: Voyenno-morskaya akadamiya imyeni N. G. Kuznetsova) is the main staff college and postgraduate institution for the Russian Navy and is located in Saint Petersburg.
Formerly known as Marshal Andrey Grechko Naval Academy, the Kuznetsov Naval Academy is located in St. Petersburg and is the Russian Navy's only senior service school. The students are lieutenants commander, commanders, and some captains, with ages from 30–35 years.

He served in the Black Sea Fleet beginning in 1921, became a Communist Party member in 1925, and graduated from the Frunze Naval School in 1926 and the naval Academy in 1932. He served as assistant commander of the cruiser Krasnyi Kavkaz (1932 – 1934), and as commander of the cruiser Chervona Ukraina (1934 – 1936).
