In September, Elizabeth B. Noyce, a long-time benefactor of many Maine organizations including the Museum, died unexpectedly. While mourning the loss of a valued friend and supporter, the Museum staff learned of Ms. Noyce's culminating act of generosity -- the bequest of sixty-four American works of art to the permanent collection.
