Louis Alexandre de Bourbon (6 June 1678 – 1 December 1737), a legitimated prince of the blood royal, was the son of Louis XIV and of his mistress Françoise-Athénaïs, marquise de Montespan. At the age of five, he became grand admiral of France.
Louis-Alexandre de Bourbon, count de Toulouse was a French admiral general, a son of Louis XIV and his mistress Mme de Montespan. Legitimized in 1681, he was an admiral of France at 5, and at 12 he accompanied his father to Holland, where he was wounded in the siege of Naumur.

Louis Alexander Joseph Stanislas de Bourbon, Prince de Lamballe, first huntsman of France, died at the Château de Louveciennes, near Versailles, the 6th of this month, at half-past eight o'clock in the morning, aged twenty years and eight months.
Louis Alexandre de Bourbon (1678-;1737) was a illegitimate son of Louis XIV and of his mistress Marquise de Montespan. From 1681, he was known as the Duke of Penthièvre, Count of Toulouse. At the age of five, he became Grand Admiral of France.
Louis-Alexandre de Bourbon, comte de Toulouse, was the third son of Louis XIV and Françoise-Athénaïs de Rochechouart, marquise de Montespan. He was declared legitimate in 1681, made Admiral of France in 1683 and installed as Admiral in 1694.
Made Comte de Toulouse in 1681, duc de Penthièvre in 1697, and duc de Rambouillet in 1711. Governor of Guyenne in 1689, and of Brittany in 1695. In 1723 he married Marie Victoire de Noailles; they had one son, Louis Jean Marie de Bourbon, Duke of Penthièvre.
