Bryan Bassett (born August 11, 1954) is an American guitarist who has played with several notable bands, but is best known as a member of Wild Cherry in the 1970s who had a hit with "Play That Funky Music".
Bryan Bassett has over 40 years experience as a professional musician and recording artist and 30 years experience as a recording engineer and producer. Musical: 1999 – Present. * Guitarist for international recording artist “Foghat”.
Peverett had returned to the United States by 1990 and formed his own version of the band, Lonesome Dave's Foghat, which featured Bryan Bassett (ex-Wild Cherry), Stephen Dees (bass) and Eddie Zyne (drums). Dees and Zyne had played with Hall & Oates, among others.
