Tbilisi Nersisyan School, one of the most well-known Armenian schools in Tbilisi in the 19th cen- tury, was founded in 1824 under the leadership of Nerses Ashtaraketsi in Tbilisi. This school, which continued for a hundred years, has a great place in the educa- tional, cultural, social and political activities for the Armenians.
