  5. Biography. ‘Jack’ Howe reached the peak of his political fame in the later years of William III’s reign as one of the government’s most inveterate opponents. His capacity for ‘boldness’ in debate knew almost no bounds, and not infrequently his ‘indecent reflections’ on the King caused shock and dismay.

  7. 25 de ago. de 2021 · John Grobham Howe was born on 25 January 1624. He was the son of Sir John Howe, 1st Baronet, and Bridget Rich. He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn on 5 February 1644/5. He was MP for the County of Gloucester from 17 April 1661. Death . He died in May 1679. He was buried at Langar, Nottinghamshire, on 27 May 1679.
