Enniskillen Royal Grammar School is a new academically selective, co-educational, non-denominational voluntary grammar school, opening on 1 September 2016 and bringing together the school communities of the Collegiate Grammar School and Portora Royal School.
The school opened its doors on 1 September 2016. Two former Enniskillen grammar schools ( Portora Royal School and the Enniskillen Collegiate Grammar School) were amalgamated to form the school. It is located on two sites (the former sites of Portora Royal School and the Enniskillen Collegiate Grammar School ).
This Enniskillen school was founded by Royal Charter in 1608, with the motto "Honour all men". The school started life in Lisnaskea but moved to its present site overlooking the water in 1643....

26 de jul. de 2016 · The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester visited the historic school in Enniskillen in 2016, as it was about to be replaced by a new co-educational grammar school. Portora Royal School was founded in 1618 by King James I and had famous alumni such as Oscar Wilde and Nigel Dodds.
