The Royal Academy of Music (RAM) in London, England, is one of the oldest music schools in the UK, founded in 1822 by John Fane and Nicolas-Charles Bochsa. It received its royal charter in 1830 from King George IV with the support of the first Duke of Wellington.

A Royal Academy of Music (Real Academia de Música) foi uma companhia de ópera fundada em fevereiro de 1719 em Londres, na Inglaterra, por um grupo de nobres que desejava introduzir o cultivo da ópera italiana. Foi amparada pelo rei Jorge I e recrutou Händel como mestre de orquestra.
