Tijdens de maand juli zendt de Koninklijke Militaire School zoals elk jaar zijn studenten uit naar alle windstreken van het land op zomerkamp. De ideale gelegenheid om na de academische prestaties tijdens de examens in juni de militaire vaardigheden nog wat verder aan te scherpen, alvorens in augustus van een welverdiende vakantie te genieten.
Brief historical overview. Shortly after Belgium's independence (1830), King Leopold I, having served as an officer in the Russian army against Napoleon, becomes aware of the need for a professional officer corps. At that point in time, tensions still exist between Belgium and the Netherlands.

During the International Week, 31 students and 12 officers from a dozen different countries were invited at the Royal Military Academy. The planning included a visit to the A400M, a trip to Bastogne, a visit to the Naval Base in Zeebrugge, a tour of Brussels, and much more.
