  1. Gordon Frederick Browne RI RBA (15 April 1858 – 27 May 1932) was an English artist and a prolific illustrator of children's books in the late 19th century and early 20th century. He was a meticulous craftsman and went to a great deal of effort to ensure that his illustrations were accurate.

  2. Although Gordon Browne did not achieve the same acclaim as his father, Phiz, he was a prolific and well-respected illustrator whose work was recognized by the Royal Institute when he was elected in 1896. Gordon Browne died on May 27, 1932 in Richmond, Surrey.
