"Motorbike" is a song by Poppy. It served as the third single from her fifth studio album Zig and is the tenth track on the album. It was released on September 12th, 2023 alongside a music video.
Poppy revealed the title of the song alongside the album's tracklist on July 19th, 2023.
On September 5th, Poppy posted two teaser images to social media with the caption "Vrooom vrooom vrooom ✨". The following day Poppy announced the single's release via social media with the caption "Motorbike out 9/12 🤍🖤".
In a September 2023 interview with Kerrang! Poppy discussed the theme of the song.
In an interview with the Zach Sang Show, she explained that the song was also inspired by the 1968 romantic drama film The Girl on a Motorcycle starring Marianne Faithfull.
