The Conquering Power (1921) is an American silent romantic drama directed by Rex Ingram and starring Rudolph Valentino, Alice Terry, and Ralph Lewis. The film was based on the 1833 novel Eugénie Grandet by Honoré de Balzac. [1] Its sets were designed by Ralph Barton.

Based on the 1883 novel Eugenie Grandet by Honore de Balzac, The Conquering Power (1921) was an attempt to recreate the chemistry of the previous year's The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, reuniting director Rex Ingram, screenwriter June Mathis, actress Alice Terry and the incomparable Rudolph Valentino.
