Eric Norman Thompson (9 November 1929 – 30 November 1982) was an English actor, scriptwriter and stage director. He is best remembered for creating and performing the English narration for The Magic Roundabout, [1] which he adapted from the original French Le Manège enchanté .
Eric Thompson (1929-1982) was a British actor and writer, known for Dougal and the Blue Cat, Serjeant Musgrave's Dance and One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich. He was married to Phyllida Law and was the father of Emma Thompson and Sophie Thompson.

Eric Thompson ( 4 de novembro de 1919 – 22 de agosto de 2015) foi um automobilista britânico nascido na Inglaterra que participou do Grande Prêmio da Grã-Bretanha de 1952. Ele terminou a prova em 5º lugar, marcando 2 pontos. Em 2013, ele recebeu do ACO a distinção de piloto do Hall da Fama das 24 Horas de Le Mans. [ 1] Resultado na Fórmula 1.
