Kasabian (/ k ə ˈ s eɪ b i ə n / kə-SAY-bee-ən) is an English rock band formed in Leicester in 1997 by lead vocalist Tom Meighan, guitarist and second vocalist Sergio Pizzorno, guitarist Chris Karloff and bassist Chris Edwards.

Os três membros se juntaram com Chris Karloff e formaram uma banda nomeada Saracuse por volta de 1997. Nesse começo, a Saracuse contava também com Ben Kealey, na época baterista, e tiveram seu primeiro EP produzido por Scott Gilbert em 1998.
