24 de mai. de 2022 · Whether it be through a little more focus or just my thoroughly diminished expectations, Impact is Imminent manages to be Anvil’s best album in at least a decade. The band’s same old strengths and weaknesses are on full display here, but there are just enough individual songs that manage to stand out a little more than usual.

9 de jul. de 2022 · Para nossa alegria, a banda canadense Anvil acaba de lançar seu décimo nono álbum de estúdio, “Impact Is Imminent”, um verdadeiro soco no estômago, como se não houvesse amanhã. Infelizmente o Anvil, nunca alcançou a fama devida, mesmo tendo feito ótimos trabalhos nesses anos todos de estrada.
24 de mai. de 2022 · “Impact is Imminent” (ok, desta vez as três letras iniciais são iguais, mas segue valendo a escrita) é o 19º trabalho do já há algum tempo trio. O vocalista/guitarrista Steve “Lips” Kudlow e o baterista Robb Reiner seguem juntos, conservando a amizade exaltada no documentário “This is Anvil”, de 2008.
