The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) is an Australian educational institution for the performing arts based in Sydney, New South Wales. Founded in 1958, many of Australia's leading actors and directors trained at NIDA, including Cate Blanchett, Sarah Snook, Mel Gibson, Judy Davis and Baz Luhrmann.

NIDA Open offers short courses, holiday classes and intensive Studio courses in theatre, film, entertainment and education for all ages and levels. Learn from professional teaching artists in world-class facilities across Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.
NIDA Open offers term and holiday short courses, residencies and intensive part-time studio courses in acting, musical theatre, design and production, directing and writing. Courses are for all ages and abilities, and run concurrent with school timetables in various locations.
