Lady Agnes Stewart (1480-1557) was a Scottish noble, a cousin of King James IV of Scotland. She was born the illegitimate [1] daughter of James Stewart, 1st Earl of Buchan and Margaret Murray. [1] On 31 October 1552 she was legitimized under the Great Seal of Scotland.
Lady Agnes Stewart was born on 28 November 1480, in Traquair, Peeblesshire, Scotland. She married Adam Hepburn 2nd Earl of Bothwell on 28 August 1511, in Holyrood, Midlothian, Scotland. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 2 daughters.

Agnes Stewart was the daughter of James Stewart, 1st Earl of Buchan and his mistress Margaret Murray. Her date of birth is unknown.
