The Matrix franchiseprimarily consists of a trilogy of science-fiction-action films. The films' are later revealed to also serve as trans allegories and the stories were "all about the desire for transformation," adding that it came from "a closeted point of view" because the (corporate) world was not ready to hear the message at the time.
