Major Sir John Jacob "Jakie" Astor VII, MBE, ERD (29 August 1918 – 10 September 2000) was an English politician and sportsman. He was a member of the prominent Astor family.
Major the Hon Sir John Jacob Astor "Jakie" Astor, as he was invariably known, was the youngest child and fourth son of the redoubtable Nancy Astor and her husband Waldorf, then Conservative MP for Plymouth, but shortly to forfeit his seat on succeeding his father as the 2 nd Viscount Astor.
John Jacob Astor VI (August 14, 1912 – June 26, 1992) was an American socialite, shipping businessman, and member of the Astor family. He was dubbed the "Titanic Baby" for his affiliation with the RMS Titanic; Astor was born four months after his father, Colonel John Jacob Astor IV, died in the sinking of the Titanic.

John Jacob Astor (born Johann Jakob Astor) was the youngest of four sons born to Johann Jacob Astor (1724–1816) and Maria Magdalena vom Berg (1730–1764). The Astor family can trace their ancestry back to Giovan Asdour (1595–1668) and Gretta Ursula Asdour (1589–?).
