North West (South) - Acton Bridge or Peak Forest (Can be hit & miss, not recommended to just turn up blind) Midlands - Stafford but lots of other places that are also busy; Nuneaton, Rugby, Water Orton, Tamworth.

When I am trainspotting i carry a notebook for quick scribbles but I mainly use a trainspotting app on my phone (that also has a record function for transcribing later if i'm trying to get a lot at once). The app i use is handy as it can handle multiple data sets at once and if i only get 1 carriage number of a set i will mark the set as seen.

London Victoria Plat 9 is generally ok, avoid p1/2 staff dont always manage the platform and they like to keep it closed as its narrow at the top end. Trainguy34 said: Great Western Mainline.

We're interested getting some photos of the Eurostar in Kent preferably with countryside in the background. 23 de nov. de 2022 · Look for a good used Panasonic GX-8. Expect to pay about £350-£400 for the body. The kit lenses (the one that was bundled with the camera) are mostly ok and usually very cheap. They also make a budget 45-200mm zoom that you can pickup for about £150.

HST's you also get the odd class 60 tug and Colas 47/56 on the rare occasion Cardiff is the best for 142's and 143's and 150's and I prefer to call it an healthy obsession as I like pacers myself Bristol Temple Meads is the place for 150's 153's 158's and HST'S more ...

23 de mai. de 2021 · There's a website called Trainlogger that lets you log any train numbers you've seen if you register an account on it (if you have a smartphone with internet access of course). I believe Barnetby is quite a popular spotting location so you might want to consider a trip there. 23 May 2021. #5.
