These creatures are adapted to the extreme conditions of the deep ocean, including high pressure, low temperatures, and complete darkness.

Dumbo octopuses live in the deep see below 13k feet (4,000m) and use their ear-like fins to move ahead. Their size can reach 5 feet 10 inches (1,8m) but they do not have ink sacs because they rarely encounter predators in the deep waters.
