14 de mai. de 2024 · The old live oaks in the aptly named Old Live Oak Cemetery are home to many species of birds, and the birders saw many and heard even more on May 2. An anhinga, a large water bird, even made a cameo for the birders by turning slow circles over the cemetery.

American Legion Post 189 will host a Memorial Day ceremony in Yampa at 11 a.m. Monday. There will be a reading of the names of the veterans who are buried at the cemetery, and then they will play taps and a 21-gun salute.
