Há 4 dias · This was almost certainly fuelled by King Henry VIII and his honorific-turned-boast “Fidei Defensor” – Defender of the Faith – given by Pope Leo X for his Assertio septem sacramentorum adversus Martinum Lutherum, – “Declaration of the Seven Sacraments Against Martin Luther” – in 1521.
