This worked for me to get me back to the legacy player with all track information, including Contributing Artist, and Composer, which are important for classical music fans and don't appear to be available in the new Media Player. However, when I try to rip my CD the program closes.
21 de fev. de 2024 · If you prefer to use the classic Windows Media Player in Windows 11 alongside the new Media Player app, its very easy to enable. If you type in features in the Windows search box, you should see an option for the Windows Features settings app.
Windows 11. I got a new PC yesterday is it has the old legacy media player and I wanted the new one that my laptop has. But the “Windows Media Player” that every tutorial has doesn’t even show up on my computer in the optional features and I tried doing the “features turn on or off” method to install the latest version but that didn’t work either.

Click the Start button, type features, and select Turn Windows features on or off. Scroll down and expand Media Features , clear the Windows Media Player check box, and click OK . Restart your device.
