Ludwig Heinrich Edler von Mises (German: [ˈluːtvɪç fɔn ˈmiːzəs]; 29 September 1881 – 10 October 1973) was an Austrian–American Austrian School economist, historian, logician, and sociologist.
Ludwig von Mises foi um dos mais notáveis economistas e filósofos liberais da história, e o principal teórico da Escola Austríaca de Economia do século XX. Ele desenvolveu a Praxeologia, método dedutivo para se entender a Economia; é o pai da Escola Neo-austríaca de Economia, e também tinha doutorado em Leis e Ciências Sociais.
