Há 10 horas · So I just went to the courthouse for jury duty on may 28 it was declared a mistrial and they send everyone home after role call.They told me I could still be pulled in for jury duty until August 31,2024 and that’s when the term ends.Now I got another jury notice in the mail and it said that I’m selected to serve for jury duty from September 1 ,2024 to August 31,2025.Can they do this?

Your trial can be cancelled if you participate in any online discussion while on a jury - the judge grants a mistrial. They then need to schedule a new trial. Do not post while you are on jury duty.
