The fight is bit diffcult but nothing bad until her last phase. Whoch starts with three rounds of dping a AoE attack where a circle expands and you have to get out of there until it damages you. And then the ultimate attack where she brings the fucking moon.

Coming back from a real long break since I saw videos about calamity and stars above and thought they looked cool. I've done multiple playthroughs back when Plantera/Golem was still the last boss and never fought moonlord or empress of light.
Have you tryed bosses like empress of light or duke fishron ? Their drops are usually pretty good
