27 de ago. de 2024 · Most likely only way to fix it currently because the install does not work is to install some other game that uses EAC.
27 de ago. de 2024 · Every time i boot up the game since the new patch, there is an error that says anti chat not installed and it boots me out.
7 de set. de 2024 · However now the game refuses to launch due to Easy Anti-cheat being installed but it is installed. I even went into the files and tried the Start protected game option with the EAC icon. It initializes but says the EAC isn't installed.
28 de ago. de 2024 · I tried by creating a shortcut and changing the name of the easyanticheat.exe file (inside the dbd folder) from properties as recommended on some forums, and nothing. I tried repairing it from Windows Repair Tool and according to it, the Easy Anti Cheat version is compatible with Windows 8 or older versions. I have Windows 10.
28 de ago. de 2024 · Since the update I always get the error “Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed”. I reinstalled the game several times, no result. Another game installed from a third-party provider with the same anticheat and it runs without any problems.
