14 de mai. de 2024 · Despite two major fires in 1877 and 1975, the Castle is still the family home of the Dukes of Argyll. The Jail is now a museum and visitor centre. A triple masted schooner, the Arctic Penguin, built in 1911, is moored at the town pier.

Há 2 dias · Inveraray 🇬🇧 76kms 🚴♀️ I set off for Inveraray on my bike ahead of the two car loads. The route followed Loch Awe, past the castle in the lake we saw yesterday and then up a long 10km climb through the mountains and then down a similar distance to the town.
