Johnson's distinctive stiff upright running position and very short steps defied the conventional wisdom that a high knee lift was necessary for maximum speed.
I don’t think Ben was sabotaged. I do think he was treated unfairly. It was quite right that he lost his medal, but the rules were not applied equally to the runners in that 100m final. Carl Lewis never should have been in the race according to Olympic rules at that time.
