Há 1 dia · The 1959 version of Ben-Hur is a cinematic event.Massive in scale and conception it could not, I venture, be made in the modern day. The vast crowd scenes could, of course, be carried-off quite competently using CGI and the chariot race could be even more visceral.
The 4K Blu-ray of Ben Hur (1959) needs to be released already. It was remastered in 8K back in 2009/2010 and screened in 2011 and it's been nothing but crickets since. I'm truly baffled why this disc is not out yet. Can someone give me some hope please.
