28 de mai. de 2024 · I'm having hard time figuring out how to have Nodemailer working with Outlook account. I keep getting Authentication unsuccessful, SmtpClientAuthentication is disabled for the Tenant. Visit https://aka.ms/smtp_auth_disabled for more information.
29 de mai. de 2024 · Please check if SMTP Client Auth is enabled on the tenant and disabled it to see if it works. Make sure that NetworkCredentials you set are correct, the user id had to be used in the NetworkCredential along with domain name and not actual email id.

Typically if we wanted to use SMTP auth we just enabled it in the account. However I cant find documentation if HVE works this way, when we try to make an account it vanishes, and mentions SMTP auth is disabled for our tenant. We dont have security defaults but we do have SMTP auth disabled for our org.

Há 4 dias · Nowadays it fails when trying to authenticate IMAP connection to Outlook mailbox, even the personal one. The authorization code flow itself works fine and we are able to get access tokens without any problems, but these access tokens not working as expected. Error we are getting:
29 de mai. de 2024 · While no longer supported, our servers still allow clients to use those older versions of TLS when connecting to the SMTP AUTH endpoint (smtp.office365.com). In 2022, we plan to completely disable those older TLS versions to secure our customers and meet those security and compliance requirements.
