They never called her catwoman, you are correct. But as she plays Selina Kyle it’s understood (that is catwoman’s alter ego) Catwoman is a jewel thief/burglar so even before she donned her tight suit (nice butt) I knew who she was portraying. Mind clouded by Tim Burton's "Batman Returns" where she's a crazy cat lady.
