Throughout the 15 years of their intimacy Fliess provided Freud an invaluable interlocutor for his most daring ideas.

Há 4 dias · During the formative period of his work, Freud valued and came to rely on the intellectual and emotional support of his friend Wilhelm Fliess, a Berlin-based ear, nose, and throat specialist whom he had first met in 1887.

He completely stopped corresponding and meeting with him because he didn't agree with what he was doing. In the beginning, he also experimented with cocaine.

Se trata de cartas dirigidas a Wilhelm Fliess, especialista en Berlín, a quien Freud fue comunicando desde 1887 a 1902 sus ilusiones y descubrimientos en relación con las neurosis, los sueños, la libido, etc.
24 de mai. de 2024 · Wilhelm Fliess wasn’t the first to use the term bisexuality. The anatomist Robert Bentley Todd first used it in 1859. Todd meant it to refer to ‘male’ and ‘female’ physical characteristics in the same body, or hermaphrodite we might say.
