In December 1988, Universal announced that they would release an animated film every eighteen months and begin production on An American Tail II in early 1989.

Just remembered that as a kid I knew the main dinosaur was John Goodman but then I’d see John Goodman as the T. rex outside of this, and whenever Roseanne was on I’d think about the T. rex from this movie putting his tail in Roseanne’s vagina and saying “well HEY there friend!”
