19 de jun. de 2024 · Tuskegee University (Tuskegee or TU; formerly known as the Tuskegee Institute) is a private, historically black land-grant university in Tuskegee, Alabama. It was founded on July 4th in 1881 by the Alabama Legislature .

In March 2006, his descendants permitted examination of medical records: these showed he had hypertension , with a blood pressure more than twice normal, and that he died of kidney failure brought on by high blood pressure.
