Skaginn er fjöllóttur og ná margir fjallatindar yfir 1200 m yfir sjávarmál og nokkrir yfir 1400 m, hæst er Kerling (1538 m). Nokkrir litlir jöklar eru í fjöllum og dölum Tröllaskaga s.s. Gljúfurárjökull og Tungnahryggsjökull.
