11 de mai. de 2024 · Dale Abbey, also known as the Abbey of Stanley Park, was a religious house, close to Ilkeston in Derbyshire. Its ruins are located at the village of Dale Abbey, which is named after it. Its foundation legend portrays it as developing from a hermitage, probably in the early 12th century.
22 de mai. de 2024 · Thomas Stanley, 1st Earl of Derby (1435–1504), KG, eldest son and heir, who in 1485 was created Earl of Derby by King Henry VII following his decisive assistance in the Battle of Bosworth. He married twice, firstly to Eleanor de Neville, secondly to Lady Margaret Beaufort, mother of King Henry VII.
