20 de mai. de 2024 · Constable served under Thomas Radclyffe, 3rd Earl of Sussex, in the campaign after the Northern Rebellion of 1569, and was knighted by Sussex at Berwick. He was Marshal of Berwick from 1576 to 1578, and was appointed Lieutenant-General of the Ordnance at some time before 4 August 1588.

He is said to be the oldest of the four pursuivants in ordinary, but the earliest known mention of the title is in 6 Hen. V, 1418–19, when Rouge Croix was at Caudebec.
Há 6 dias · In 1567 Thomas Radcliffe made a settlement of his manor, and dying in the same year was succeeded by his son William, then forty years of age. William, who forfeited the manor to his brother John in ten years, died in 1590 without issue.
