21 de mai. de 2024 · Thomas Belasyse, 1st Earl Fauconberg PC (c. 1627 – 31 December 1700) was an English peer. He supported the Parliamentary cause in the English Civil War, becoming close to Oliver Cromwell and marrying Cromwell's third daughter, Mary.
28 de mai. de 2024 · The first house here was erected for Thomas Belasyse, second Viscount, and from 1689 first Earl Fauconberg, who was married to Mary, daughter of Oliver Cromwell. Fauconberg had at first occupied a house on the north side of the square, but he lived at No. 20 from at least 1683 until his death in 1700.
