  2. The Sittaford Mystery. Nice little mystery that I figured out early, even though I didn't get all the deets correct. Here's one where they but it didn't ruin the book. Love the spunky heroine.   6. I am reading The Sittaford Mystery by Agatha Christie and came across this line: "Inspector Narracott picked up a rather battered old book, Pride and Prejudice."

  7. Há 4 dias · The village of Sittaford is cut off by snow, making it the perfect setting for a murder mystery to unfold. This is a wonderful standalone Christie novel and I loved the heroine, Emily Trefusis. Like my edition of The Sittaford Mystery, Benighted by J.B. Priestley (5) also has a picture of a house on the cover.
