Stamford Bridge (/ ˈ s t æ m f ər d /) is a football stadium in Fulham, adjacent to the borough of Chelsea in West London. It is the home of Premier League club Chelsea . With a capacity of 40,343, it is the ninth largest venue of the 2024–25 Premier League season and the eleventh largest football stadium in England.

Stamford Bridge is the home of Premier League club Chelsea F.C.. It is located in Fulham in southwest London. It was built for Fulham Football Club, who turned it down for money reasons, so Chelsea was created and decided to play at the ground. It currently holds a capacity of 41,631 seats.
The Battle of Stamford Bridge ( Old English: Gefeoht æt Stanfordbrycge) took place at the village of Stamford Bridge, East Riding of Yorkshire, in England, on 25 September 1066, between an English army under King Harold Godwinson and an invading Norwegian force led by King Harald Hardrada and the English king's brother Tostig Godwinson.
