Yes, it is a good doc, but it’s not a about Molina just the recording of that album. As you may know, there is a biography of Molina written by Erin Osmon.

Somebody mentioned Silver Jews earlier in the thread — if you like them, you should definitely check out Purple Mountains, which was a one-off project by Silver Jews’ frontman David Berman. It is an amazing album, and quite similar to Molina’s style I think.
