7 de mai. de 2024 · Sixteen years on from his Olympic debut in Beijing, Daley – who will be competing at his fifth Olympic Games – will be looking to defend the Men’s 10m Synchro title he won with Matty Lee back in Tokyo, having previously claimed bronze alongside Daniel Goodfellow at the Rio Games.
8 de mai. de 2024 · Matty Lee, who teamed with Daley for gold in Tokyo in 2021, underwent back surgery in March, ruling him out of the Paris Games. In Tokyo, Daley and Lee were the only non-Chinese divers to take gold across the eight events.

7 de mai. de 2024 · While Noah Williams’ Olympic debut – after just failing to qualify for Tokyo – is being celebrated, some are asking why Tom Daley’s Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games partner Matty Lee isn’t returning. Lee revealed in March that he would sadly miss the Paris 2024 Games after having surgery on his spine.
7 de mai. de 2024 · In Tokyo 2020, Daley won gold with Matty Lee. In Rio 2016, he took bronze with Daniel Goodfellow. But Daley’s Olympic career dates all the way back to 2008, in Beijing, shortly after his 14 th birthday. Four Olympic medals later (including two in the individual 10m events), the father-of-two stopped diving after Tokyo.
