If asked to name a jazz composer, lots of people might be able to name Miles Davis or Duke Ellington, but there are many more famous jazz composers who deserve recognition and admiration for their contribution to this amazing art form.
13 de jun. de 2024 · Tragically, Lunceford's life was cut short when he died of a heart attack on July 12, 1947, while on tour in Seaside, Oregon. His death was a significant loss to the jazz world, but his legacy lived on through the musicians he mentored and the innovative style he championed.
