25 de mai. de 2024 · Le coffret Decca est évidemment un incontournable pour qui voudrait parcourir tout l’art de Kathleen Ferrier, mais celui d’EMI le complète merveilleusement bien, et le DVD/CD aussi : l’ensemble constitue au total le plus bel hommage possible.

24 de mai. de 2024 · As a sonic event this was a Mahler Second for the ages. I miss hearing this symphony without a true contralto. Find Kathleen Ferrier or Maureen Forrester on YouTube. I would also suggest fanfares and alarms in the last movement should build instead of each being full out.
