Honey, Watch Your Ass is my all time favorite Jason Molina songs. It’s off Pyramid Electric Co, his first solo album. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of his solo stuff, that album just happens to be my favorite. Alone with the Owl 🦉 🖤. Long Desert Train. Everything Should Try Again.
Somebody mentioned Silver Jews earlier in the thread — if you like them, you should definitely check out Purple Mountains, which was a one-off project by Silver Jews’ frontman David Berman. It is an amazing album, and quite similar to Molina’s style I think.
