Há 6 dias · Lord Cobham died and was buried at Stowe in 1749, and in accordance with the settlement of 1718 his sister Hester became suo jure Viscountess Cobham, being created in the same year Countess Temple. She died in 1752, her titles and estates passing to Richard Grenville, her son and heir.
