Há 3 dias · In 1405, after the rebellion of Henry Percy first Earl of Northumberland, grandson of the last named Henry, the manor was granted to the king's son John and his heirs, but the earl's grandson was restored to his dignities in 1414. At his death in 1455 he was seised of the manor of Topcliffe.
