20 de mai. de 2024 · Gregory Cromwell, 1st Baron Cromwell, KB (c. 1520 – 4 July 1551) was an English nobleman. He was the only son of the Tudor statesman Thomas Cromwell, 1st Earl of Essex (c. 1485 – 1540) and Elizabeth Wyckes (d. 1529).

Rather, I suggest, it would have been a godly nation, secure in its pursuit of God’s providential will and, under God’s guidance and without compelling tender consciences, moving ever closer to Christian unity.

Sir Christopher Packe (Draper), mayor in 1654, became a member of Cromwell's House of Lords as Lord Packe, and from him Sir Dennis Packe, the Peninsula general, was descended.
